What is your best choice task in order to rank in MSN?

All I know is Social bookmarking and forum posting (link signature). But I'm curious why your going to prioritize MSN? It should be Google first.

if your rank on other SE then it usually rank on MSN..

there is no other special task..

MSN? well keep on submitting your sites and promote it wisely. MSN is picking up your backlinks. Since MSN Groups has been disabled, you may use other sites like Multiply or Myspace.

i have a theory that they put more emphasis on the sheer number of inbound links with their algorithm. At least compared to google.

I have always found it easier to rank with google. And do not normally rank well with the other engines since I focus on G.

Do the usual SEO strategies. Build quality inbound links for the site. MSN already shifted towards the strategy of Google, focusing on links than merely onpage optimization.

Make sure your on page content is good, then get some good off page optimization, and you should be set. I've found MSN and yahoo are a little slower in indexing sites than google.

I find msn extremely slow and poorly designed in how it ranks..

Correct! Also make sure that you link to related websites (content) only. It's the quality that counts.

Hi,

I did not try to optimize our sites For MSN.

And i dont think that there would be any special way of promotion in MSN.

I am targeting only Google and remaining all SEs promote my site auto.

Just do what your doing for google. Build a ton of good backlinks. Focus on a couple keywords. MSN takes a little time to rank in but it will show up. Also submit your site to them along with sitemap.
