Ad units still make more money than the units link, it is because a link ad purchased by a group of advertisers as an ad unit ad purchased by a single advertiser.

I personally think these link units are much better, but as i think if we use text ad formats the ads appearing on our pages will be the ads paying us high available at that time.

In terms of clicks, Ad unit is way better. My earnings usually come from ad units, not from link units.

I recommend my clients to use ad units coz these are more visible and attract good amount of traffic.

Text ads then link units convert best for me. Link units require 2 clicks as you know. But it's nice how you can put them in there and many people don't think of them as "ads" because they don't really "get it" which is good.

Yes, thank you. I think that's very practical advice. I've never really experimented with the ads, but it's time to try. I'll start with just a change or two so I can clearly see what works and what does not. And I'll take good notes.
