Ads units usually gives highest contribution to my overall adsense earnings.

I prefer using Ad Units. They are bigger and can easily be seen by users.

Ad units always make more money than link units this is because a link ad is bought by a group of advertisers whereas an ad unit ad is bought by a single advertiser.

Based on my experience, its the ads unit as well. I got lots of earnings coming from it.

I' go for ad unit, since it can give you high CTR hence can give you high conversion compare to link unit.
