Link Building Problem ?

Hello Members

I have submit my website to 500 directories with Reciprocal Link but not got the results only 40 to 50 links shown what's the problem can anyone tell me?

The other links probably have not yet been approved by the directories. Google doesn't count them all as well.

google don't show all backlinks.. and they don't gave much weight on directories.. :wink:

May have to wait a long time to google crawl your pages,
and pages you have to submit to a quality backlink is created to be fast, efficient, and durable.

Maybe some of your site wasn't approved.

Here i come to know that google dosent gives such weight to directories..is it true?

The reason may not be only google crawling,but your site may not be approved or in pending review.
Note that directory editor require a quality backlink as a reciprocal link, and in the home page.
So how can you put 500 links in your homepage or other pages ? If you put so will they be quality?

Most of the directory links all over the web are being excluded by Google. Actually, most of the search engines don't include directories or just don't give a lot of weigh in the links.

maybe they didn't add your link even you provide a reciprocal links... it always happen thats why I stop reciprocal link on directories.

Reciprocal link also won't guarantee approval.

Don't expect lots of backlinks just by doing 1 link building method. You should also try doing social bookmarking, forum posting and article submission.

It takes time for google to index all your backlinks.
But as other people stated as well, there is a possibility that you haven`t been approved on some directories

link/email confirmation is very important for further approval. It could be a problem.
