It depends on the keyword you want to focus. Google loves short and user-friendly domains.

I think it would have minor effect, if any. There are so many other more important factors involved. Having said that, I can't think of any really popular sites that start with a number - can you name any? Not saying they don't exist...

ideally you will want to have your keywords FIRST in the url, numbers can be come after.

Domain starting with character is better than the number. We cant say that domain name starting with number is bad, its depends on the matter of your website.

The number in the domain shouldn't hurt it all, but it would help if the number had some type of relevances with the name of the site.
