A Google bomb or Google wash is an attempt to influence the ranking of a given site in results returned by the Google search engine, in order to increase the likelihood of people finding and clicking on selections in which the individual or other entity engaging in this practice is interested.

As you know Google bombs is a black hat SEO technique and it is the collective efforts to link to a site by a key phrase and artificially elevate a Web site in the Google search results for that search phrase. The practice of using anchor text to make a page show up in the SERPs under keywords that are out of context for that page.

i think they used concept of links as particles.

Google Bomb considers the number of other sites that point to a page and the words used in describing the link. So it plays the important role in Google Algorithm.
