I'm not familiar with Lycos but all I know if you work in Google everything will surely follow.

Yes it is easy just go to add a site option and add your site.

I think there is no need of lycos submission,it is somewhat dead

Submitting your site may be a risk too so first make sure you are aware from all the pros and cons and then go a head...
