How to handle Spoiler review on Google Local Listing?

Postby venkatweetz » Sat Apr 14, 2018 11:40 pm

One of my competitor is writing negative reviews often

He is not a real customer.
He don't have any queries or complaints to resolve.
He is writing spoiler reviews from different fake accounts.

I have flagged those reviews as inappropriate and submitted to google. But no response. Please advice how to handle it.

There is no any option to remove negative reviews but you have the option to handle them with your positive reply. In your reply tell him to call on your office number for better resolutions..

we're here to clear the air about how you can remove a negative Google review and what even qualifies for the removal process. In the case of a bad Google Review, the first thing you’ll want to do is figure out whether or not it’s fake. Then, if it is fraudulent, you should work towards flagging the Google review as inappropriate to get it removed.

Unfortunately, there is no current method to remove negative reviews from Google, Yelp, TripAdvisor, or the other major review platforms. When someone posts a false negative review about your business, it can be surprisingly difficult to get it removed.

Apologize for re-post the same topic again but I feel I need some assistance from google admin to remove negative reviews from google map.

Google My Business can only be created for businesses that either have a physical location that customers can visit, or that travel to visit customers where they are. Creating a successful listing that won’t be suspended requires avoiding prohibited content, accurately reflecting your business, and complying with the rest of the policies below.

Sign in to Google My Business.
If you have multiple listings, open the location you'd like to manage.
Click Reviews from the menu.
Find the review you'd like to flag, click the three dot menu , then click Flag as inappropriate.
