Google my business offers a facility to create a google post. I want to know will it help in search ranking or local 3 pack ranking?

The GMB posting option is an attempt to make GMBs a little more interactive like a social media channel. It is a great place to post company information or data that your ideal clients may enjoy reading. Although it makes your GMB more active it does not necessarily help it ranking in the 3-pack at this time.

Yes, In some ways you'll get the benefits in the local map if you're actively posting contents.
