how can i submit?

Yep, just submit your site in relevant directories. Directory submission is very useful. Because of directory submission your site gains backlinks, so automatically search engines list your site.

Yep, the thing is that spiders follow links, that's how they can land on your site. Directories are normally spidered everyday, so it's a good way to get your site spidered and indexed. Also, if you have an older site with some popularity, you can place a link to your new site, and the spiders will follow that link and get your new site spidered.

When ever I build a customers website and I am done with it, I post a link for them on the front page of one of my websites. most of the time the site will get spidered within a week to 10 days on the top search engines. You want to be sure to add a robots.txt file to the front dir. This has worked better for me with my customers.

i think u can pay to a utulity like dynamic submission, those kind of softwares submit to a mass number of search engines, so you dont have to spend time going onebyone.

1. DMOZ Directory (if they ever let you submit again)
2. Yahoo Directory
3. Exactseek Directory
4. Joeant Directory
5. Alive Directory
6. Aviva Directory
7. Goguides Directory
8. Gimpsy Directory
9. Skaffe Directory
