Google Sitemap - How many links?

Hi,

Should a Google sitemap include links to every single item on your site, e.g every gif or jpg?

Or should it only include the sites internal and external page URL's?

Please help - I am new to this!

Sitemap should contain links to each page. You don't have to worry about each individual image.
