Its pretty precise because of the fact that its made by Google. It even detects the version of flash player installed on the client machine along with other details like operating system, display size and many other details. I have been using it and found it pretty accurate.

Both of them use javascripts, so they are not accurate. If you need better stats, use awstats or webalizer. Some webhosts provide them with cpanel.

Yeah but not really accurate unlike statcounter! Since Google Analytic s waits for 1 day before you can see the result of your traffic.

As far as I know Google Analytics are very useful for webmasters.It is for analyse your visitors. I've seen many webmasters praising Google Analytics.
