Google as well as Yahoo might be reverse in ranking, other strategy to get traffic from both is to service the sponsored list on the other one that the site is not well ranked.

This is all down to the concept that fewer and fewer people are applying Yahoo everyday, you can't become traffic if nobody is searching applying their search engine.....

One way of generating additional traffic from Yahoo is by posting messages on Yahoo Answers.

Traffic Web Services from Yahoo! enable you to get traffic alert information from a given location. Use the Traffic REST API to customize your request with many parameters including indicating locations based on city state, zip code, or a combination of any of these things, latitude-longitude, whether to include a map image, or a search radius in miles. Traffic Web Services are also available through a dynamic RSS feed.

According to the already many sites that when occupied and get traffic from Google, and get traffic from Yahoo poor .. And vice versa. Google and Yahoo may be the opposite cold; frost in the strategy, ranking the other for traffic from all of it to benefit from the list under the auspices of the other site that is not ranked well.

Traffic is closed Yahoo! rest and Traffic RSS feed API. Then a new or existing Yahoo! Traffic API is an infection. Although existing APIs are going away, early 2011 we announced improvements to our map APIs, which include traffic facilities will be updated.

This is all down to the fact that fewer as well as fewer people are using Yahoo daily, you can't get traffic if nobody is searching using their search engine.

Many webmasters have already reported that when they ranked and getting traffic from google, they get poor traffic from yahoo.. and vice versa. Google and Yahoo algo might be opposite in ranking, other strategy to get traffic from both is to avail the sponsored listing on the other one that the site is not well ranked.
