Yes, your title is somewhat misguiding. It states that you have something to say about yahoo directory but you end up saying some thing yahoo itself. Better to remain cautious before posting anything.

ya, as far as I know the yahoo directory is paid inclusion. Not a big fan of this sort of thing.

It's certainly worth submitting to DMOZ and the Yahoo Business Directory. Yahoo charge commercial sites $299 for a listing but if your site is non commercial it's free.

If you speak with the professional SEO staff working at leading companies, they would tell you that buying a Yahoo directory could definitely be worth it, even if it looks expensive.

Yahoo directory listing is a paid one. I think it's not worth it because you can only get minimal traffic from it.

Yeah right. I agree with this. I tried it and I never get a good traffic.

I don't think that it is very "worth it" at all...

If you have the money, then go and buy a place for their directory. But if you got limited funds, better spend it on something else. ;)

Not sure what the point is, but Yahoo does have a directory that always seems to lag behind google which is the top search engine, but the combination with bing may help it in the future.

Yahoo Directory

Post by Body Dreams Apparel »

I am debating about paying the $299 for Yahoo Directory but have not done so because of the cost. i hear both sides of the argument. My question is how do i know if I am in the directory or not? I have a yahoo store but don't know if i am in the Yahoo directory.
