may be you submit artical but it is waiting for approval so till then they are not approved you never get backlink and one more thing if artical is not related with subject then also backlink is not counted.

Backlinks are generated when your articles have been approved by the site. It will take quite a long time for an article to be approved. just continue to submit articles as much as you can.
