It may take some time (sometimes 6 months or more ...) before your website will show up in the Open Directory Project. However, do not resubmit your website during the waiting period as this can only result in a longer delay or get your website rejected. Be patient and regularly check the status of your submission by doing the search on DMOZ. If your website does not get listed for a long period of time or gets rejected, you can also check on the status of the submission or the reasons for the rejection by contacting the editors for the subcategory that you selected.

Well, I think DMOZ is talking about cash today and not free.

I think some categories in DMOZ are crooked and impossible to get into if you don't know the editor

Problem is there is no guidlines for rejection. If dmoz is a biggest directory then it should say why our site is rejected.

I have one site approved but it took about a year. The funny thing is my page rank is still 2 after approval . . .
So I won't be really going after a listing in Dmoz.

I think it is waist of time to submit your site more than once. Submit it only one time and if rejected then forget about it.
why? cant we re submit?
