Are there any forums or blog pages where you can meet dmoz editors- not dmoz forums

DMOZ issues

Post by peterko »

Agree, DMOZ is a very slow machine. Sometimes it even looks like editors don't care so much about the applicants.

I was trying to locate my link there many times with different categories, trying to be nice and friendly to editors. So far without success.

If anyone knows the real key to successful placement in DMOZ and share it with this forum, that would be very appreciated.

Have a great day :)

DMOZ is the www. biggest waste of space at the moment.
It worries that eveyone is reliant on getting into DMOZ, but they haven't realised that those who haven't got listed so far are doing just aswell with out it.

It looks like DMOZ has been broken for new submissions. Is anyone else seeing the same thing?

What do you mean by that? Do we have to try submitting again, and now it will be more successful? How can I see something is changed on DMOZ?

I was wondering how long it will take to get accepted by DMOZ at this moment. Now I'm pretty sceptical about it, but I could be wrong. I really wish you successful results and will appreciate if you can share your successful story with this forum when you got accepted by DMOZ. That might encourage the other members!

Have a great day :)

Thats the point no one knows how long it will take to get listed in DMOZ as the site never works.
