yes not unless the side will down or the post will be deleted

Forum links are permanent except if the forum owner disable the signature or link. Its always good to start a new thread or contribute wisely to the on going discussion in the forum without spamming or breaking the forum rules.

There is no problem in creating your own thread unless you get good replies. The thread should be interesting and meaningful , then only you will get good replies. Still I think inspite of creating your own thread your activation and participation to other thread will be quite useful to you.

that the thread is still being visited and that it recieves new visitors regularly.
