Can Google and other Search Engines Index Photos or Images on Your Site? Does this help in PR deciding.

Yes, search engine index images and photos. You can see it in action if you visit google and click the image search link.

When it comes to the images optimization for search engines you should care about the alt text and also some direct links to the page where is the image placed will help you to achieve higher position in SERPs.

Yes, they can index images. It won't help your PR though.

Yes, search engine robots are able to index all elements of a site, including texts, images, etc. Make sure you put the necessary tags in them.

I haven't found PR juice from index of images photos.
I think it is effected PR from images photos.
