Tips on Blogs for link building

Find blogs that are relevant to your industry and your site and sign up. Most blogs provide the opportunity to link to your site via your name so pick a name that includes relevant keywords. Like forums, only post relevant content and comments. Answers like "me too" do not count. If you don't have something valuable to add, then don't add anything, and move on to the next link building venture, please!

you have to choose related sites to link on... blog is a very helpful in one's site... almost all websites have their own blogs.. so write related articles often coz it will help you a lot!

More and more blogs are adding the no follow system to their pages and so such links cannot help anymore.

i didn't mind if my links is on no follow attribute.. it may not be recognized as backlinks but the quality traffic you can get there is also valuable...

Sure, you probably won't get link juice. But the traffic from a very popular blog can be quite substantial. I commented on the popular Problogger blog several months ago now. I still keep seeing that as a referrer in my stats, and I must have received at least a hundred clicks from that one comment.
That comment was about the fifteenth for that post, if I recall. But I have heard that if you are the first to comment on a popular blog you will get many more clicks than if your comment is a fair way down the list.

Soon enough SEs will give less importance from links from social bookmarking sites just like what happen to directory links imo

look for related sites and blogs.. remember quality should be your first priority

For Blog Link Exchange , try to put your mail id on blog and offer for a link exchange. I am sure those blogs will do interested in exchange links then to mailed you.

If you want to get backlinks of course you have to leave at least a good massage and not just saying yeah...that a great post. The owner may ignore for that basic reply. lol
