interesting angle. i found another one (http://www.freeadscity.com) that appears to be dofollow.

i googled intitle:"free classifieds" ... but then you have to determine if they are dofollow..

I have tried but this is only local US classifieds.

You can also give http://www.porkypost.com a try they also give you back links especially if you post your ad on there homepage by making it a feature ad

More often than not, classified postings expire after a period of time, that's why I don't submit my links to such sites.

Backlinks in Classifieds are just temporary. They expire on a certain date.

free classified sites are not forever. Some could only last 7 days and you have to repost again.

How about social bookmarking and postin in forums?

I personally won't go for classified ads. Your ads will be expired and gone within a time period, then you'll need to post a new ads again.

I think craiglist also provides backlinks for free but you need to take care of posting ads. As too many posting can lead to deletion of ads.
