Link exchange not returning links

Hi
If i exchange links with a website and i put their link on my site and they dont put mine on their site should i take their link off my site

Does your site have high pagerank? Most webmasters don't like to exchange links with sites with low or zero PR.

I agree with rayter. It can be reason for not putting your link on their site.

Yes my website is new and my pr is 1

Generally webmasters will let you know what their minimum PR requirement is before hand. If they've made an exchange with you but haven't posted your link you might as well pull it.
