Are backlinks from .edu domains quality backlinks? And is it worth? So how can we get backlinks from .edu domains?

If it doesn't feel right, dont do it my friend.

They probably would be quality back links, but I don't see how you would get it from those sites unless having your link benefited them. For example, if you were a local business, they might post a link to your site as a local resturant, entertainment or other activity in the area.

you either earnt them of havin quality content whihc is of academic interest.

you do a sponsorsdhip deal with the Students union

you come to a commercial arrngement with the univesity

you knwo someone in house who is willing to balg it for you or cash.

Try to search for .edu and leave your comments.

Links from .edu sites are good because they come from authority sites. There are many .edu sites with forums where you can put your signature. Take advantage on that.

It is good to have a backlink from an edu site, because they are good quality sites with some quality viewers. Better you post something or write a review or article for some edu site, and get a backlink.

.edu domains are full of highly trusted information and has a lot of link juice. This domians are often old and trusted domains

It is worthy bcz .edu sites aways with high PR. normally school sites having .edu extension. So they having lots of visitors daily. But getting link from it is very difficult..

Having backlinks from .edu domains are valuable but i myself dont know why

A simple answer is- They are trusted websites. and if you are getting links from some trusted websites then it will be very beneficial for you.

As for my information most of time if you want to link exchange with edu website then it depend which kind of website you are using

Getting links from this authority sites will help you out in order to rank your keywords higher on search result due to mainly this are trusted by SE's. Having links from this sites will give you a solid backlink.
