Ethical Link Building means you have to earn link, i.e credibility, reference and reputation. The core purpose of link is this not to just put your links any where. Also you should ensure that you are not involved link buy sell, exchange activities and other similar. When you talk about ethical then it must meant for value addition of end user not for your website.

You are completely wrong dude! I disagree with you. Forum posting and blog posting both are the best and ethical link building methods. In fact forums also help a lot to increase website position on search engine through signature links.

Blog commenting is the process of leaving comments, positive feedback and suggestions on targeted blogs. This is an effective way of traffic generation, brand promotion, and targeted link building because when they found you useful and helpful they will likely want to know more about you by visiting your page and Forum posting is the procedure of placing comments on or developing unique conversations on forums to acquire one way links. These are not unethical methods. You can use them for link building.

Google wisely decided in an effort to curb all the "link spamming" over the web, that they would allow site owners to use a specific tag to communicate to them that a link was not to be counted as such. In other words, even though a site may contain a link back to a spammer's site, the inclusion of the "NO FOLLOW" tag would tell the search engines to disregard the link totally.

These days almost all forums and blogs are, by default, protected by this NO FOLLOW tag. Research has shown that it has indeed slowed down the increasing problem of link spammers. After all, what is the point in wasting time placing links everywhere if they are useless. So does that mean that those of us doing ethical link building should ignore blog commenting and forum postings as a valid method of link building? Absolutely not!

At Makerank Marketing on topic blog and forum link building is just one of the many techniques we use to increase your visitors, your leads and ultimately your sales and profit.

Thanks and regards,

The most ethical linkbuilding is naturally allowing others to link to you, because of your interesting content. Call local newspapers and convince them to do an article on you or tell bloggers about your products and services.
