Dofollow and nofollw is nothing but a command. The command tells search engine which link to follow which not. There is nothing as "dofollow" if a link is not "nofollow" then it is a dofollow link. Find this code to determine nofollow or dofollow: rel="nofollow"

When other webmasters place a link on your site they can do it in two different ways. They can place either a DoFollow link or a NoFollow link. If they choose to place a DoFollow link to your site then you will receive their vote and that will improve your ranking. But if they use the NoFollow link then you will not receive any vote and your ranking will stay the same. Remember, it will not decrease your ranking but the backlink will simply not count.

Hi,

No follow and Do follow these are very important terms to understand when you are trying to build great links back to your site in order to increase your search engine rankings.

No follow – is an HTML attribute used to prevent a link from passing link weight. Commonly used on sites with user generated content, like in blog comments.

Do follow - This type of link will pass link juice/impartiality to another website or page on a website. Typically, this encourages visitor participation. It’s by default used in blogs

Nofollow which tells the search engine to should not follow the contents or keywords in your site... Dofollow is default and tells the search engine follow the website links...

Agreed. Dofollow links are those that are good to gain as they pass the link juice to the PR. People generally avoid gaining nofollow links but the fact is that they should gain some nofollow links too.

Dofollow Link is a hyperlink that is able to tell all search engines to pass along it’s page rank influence to an outbound link.
If you will use or get do follow links then search engines will count your link in the eyes of google, yahoo, bing etc as backlink for your site and you can get some positive value for your site ranking.

Nofollow Link is exactly the opposite. It is a hyperlink that removes the ability to pass on it’s page rank status to other sites.
Nofollow are for not crawling a link by search engine that influence the ranking of a particular website or blog in search engines.

Hope this help you!!

Do-follow links are easy to understandable by Google but no-follow links are not counted by Google.

Nofollow link is one which tells the search engine to not to follow the link. Dofollow is default and tells the search engine to follow the website links. Use of Dofollow links is beneficial for a website. Nofollow is nothing, If a link is not Dofollow then it is Nofollow.

Dofollow and Nofollow is nothing but a control. The control informs online search engine that which link allows to follow and which link not. If you use dofollow links then you will get more juice.

When the Google bots are crawling a website they look for external links point to other websites. If this link is “do follow” then search engines will follow the link and so link juice gets passed. If a search engine finds a “no follow” backlink it will just ignore the link and will not get deeper into crawling and no link juice is passed.
