i heard Directory Submission isn't too useful for SEO.
does anybody here something about it?

Directory submission of your websites helps search engines, especially Google to maintain complete record of your website and index it in their search results. If your website is not properly indexed by Google then you are likely to miss a lot of traffic from those who might be searching for you over Internet but couldn’t find you.

Yes it is right that Directory is very helpful to website promotion in search engine.

I personally feel that Directory Submission will sure help to increase SERP. In general it gives Do Follow permanent back links which help us to get good position. I agree it will not gives fast approval but we can search for fast approve directory sites.

Directory submissions is helpful. You however need to do your submissions manually and dont make this your only strategy for SEO. As it works very well in conjuction with other link building techniques.

But it gives quality and permanent backlinks.

it is not true that directory submission is not too useful for seo.
directory submission is as much important as other seo methodologies are.
so just ignore such types of thinking and try to post your site to more directories.

Directory Submission is useful but just choose those directories which are really good and don't waste time in bulk submission which are really not worth to do.

Directory submission is still helpful to build a link for your site maybe it takes time to be approved, but it's really worked.

yeah, directory submission is really a helpful tactic. just make sure that you're submitting your site/blog to a high-ranked directory.
