Reverse SEO is important to maintain a good online reputation. User who search company reviews sometimes encounter negative reviews about a company. The aim of reverse SEO is to push these reviews to the lower pages of Google keyword search results.

Reverse SEO takes time to gain results because your aim is to push one or several pages that have top ranks on Google. It is like optimizing for several sites instead of one website since your aim is to push good reviews or company info higher than the bad reviews.

Nothing voodoo about it.
Unless you don't want to start spamming in order to de-rank your competitors and detractors, all you can do is classical public relations, meaning stick to:
- press releases
- blogging
- social media activity
This way you will surely mantain a good reputation, no matter what the attacks would be.

Reverse SEO ( Search Engine Optimization ) is simply about optimizing websites to downgrade any website ranking in Google/Search Engine for one or more keyword terms. Please bear in mind that no one controls google results and no one can actually get rid of a bad post in google completely ( even though you bribe, scare or sue google ) not in any case.

Reverse SEO is the process of removing (technically de-ranking) websites other than your own from the first pages of Google.

Reverse SEO is the technique that helps improve own site's ranking and decrease the competitor's ranking. To do this one has to do huge spamming of the competitor's site with a lot of link to other sites. So Google thinks that this site is trying to get ranked by huge spamming and so the site gets penalty and disappear from the search engines completely.

Thanks and Regards

It seems as if Google would be watching this very closely, especially in the Panda environment.

Reverse Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a technique used in online reputation management to suppress negative results on Google Search and other search engines.
Reverse SEO involves using regular Search Engine Optimization techniques on web pages ranking (directly) underneath a negative search result. Doing normal, white-hat SEO on for web pages appearing under a negative result will improve the search rankings of those web pages, causing them to move above the negative result and thereby displacing the negative item from the first page and suppressing it far back on SERPs so that (virtually) nobody searching the name of your business will see it.
