SEO Low Competitive Keywords!

Postby vaponte » Tue Oct 19, 2010 9:46 am

Hello,

I am confused and this happens often, If you reach the #1 spot on a low competitive keyword does this mean that you don't have to do anymore SEO to keep that keyword at the #1 spot? :?:

i also had this situation..yes you could do that or still do SEO since there will always be competition no matter how low it would be and constantly that keyword will gain competition.

You get better idea when you include allintitle: "keyword", as title is one of the most important things in SEO. Searching just with quotes is not enough.

Not that i don't know how to do keyword research...i can do it very well and have even sold keyword research (not doing it anymore, as im just busy with my own business).

good point on this. also, having those keywords with average to high competitors yet still topping the results is pretty convenient onwards.

Yes That's the best idea. Doing SEO of #1 ranked keyword on weekly basis is good instead of doing everyday.

SEO is a marathon not a sprint. It has to be a consistent part of your business strategy. You will have to keep on top of your good rankings. If you relax, then you will get overtaken if you stop SEO altogether.
