Google and intensive directory submission!
I have noticed an interesting thing that after intensive submitting website to web link directories Google ranking positions are often rapidly dropping down and return back later! Usually website has even better Google ranking results after a month. I watched this process many times in my practice. Do you know how can this be explained?

I notice that always I change some text in one of my sites, it looses some positions in my keywords for more or less one month, and then the page recovers its position, and goes even higher!.
Now that Im used to this, I do not get freak but at the beginning I used to act just like crazy to understand.

It doesn't explain the scenario first most directory submission will not approved your submission instantly it takes month or longer secondly that's pretty normal the ups and down of rankings that's just a flux.3Dprof4Online wrote:I have noticed an interesting thing that after intensive submitting website to web link directories Google ranking positions are often rapidly dropping down and return back later!

Re: Google and intensive directory submission!
If your submission is intensive it means that you are not promoting your site from anywhere else(blog comments, forums, social bookmarks). Meaning no incoming links while you're submitting to directories.3Dprof4Online wrote:I have noticed an interesting thing that after intensive submitting website to web link directories Google ranking positions are often rapidly dropping down and return back later! When your submissions are approved after a month or later. as AS-9 has pointed out, google will see those links and adjusts your rank accordingly.

I've read that intensive submitting to directories was always wrong for google eyes...it supposes that backlinks should come "naturally"...from this point of view, I normally submit sites to directories slowly, no more than 15 per day per site...but this is also a good point, good enough to be considered...thanx peopleI have noticed an interesting thing that after intensive submitting website to web link directories Google ranking positions are often rapidly dropping down and return back later!
