Informing google about changes

Hello All,
I heard that web masters can inform google changes to the content of a page. How can you do that? Any idea? Searched internet but had no luck.

You can sign up for Google webmastertools and then submit a xml sitemap into it for Google to crawl the new changes in your sites content.

Just wait. Google bots will crawl any changes in your site eventually. In the meantime, keep on building quality links for it.

Google will find the changes itself if the pages are indexed, you can increase the crawl rate from webmaster tools if you want them found quicker

You can ping them. Actually google bots work very hard and visits sites daily. So I don't think you need to inform them for any changes.

You just need to update your site frequently. If google sees important and frequent changes on your site it will be crawl more often. You should post some IBL to your site, too.

Btw, you can also use http://pingomatic.com. It is a tool that notifies different search engines that your blog/site has been updated.

Oh yeah, this is what I usually do. I ping my site whenever I update it. It works.

On natural way, if you could give each inner page a backlinks through link building with support of contents like article submission, bookmarking or press release, that will surely help.

If you give a bcklink to your site it would help you.

If you update your site and add quality contents to it on a regular basis, Google will crawl it fast. You don't really need to notify the search engine about a recent update.
