You will find that the weekdays are the most active for a lot of sites because people surf during work. They take the weekends to do other things besides be on the internet. Its just how people are, not all, but some!
Monday thru Thursday are the best days for me on both Adsense & Ypn, I think it is mostly due to people surfing instead of working plus on the weekends people tend to due more stuff outdoors.

I get the most clicks on Tuesday, Wed and Thursday. However, you can always tell when the day is that most people get paid because twice a month that Friday is HUGE.
I find that when my ctr goes down or fewer clicks on my adsense that it often is because of the relevancy of the ads to my web page. It is frustrating to see that some days Google completely misses the boat on relevancy.
