How often does Google Index?

Google is constantly spidering the web and visits most websites about once a month. However, Google can also detect sites that make updates on daily or weekly basis and may revisit those sites on more frequent intervals. Google will make their spidred data live about once a month most of the time, but sometimes even on a daily or weekly basis.

Google spider comes daily on my site ( usually a forum ) to index the pages. My forum updated daily. Maybe Google index the content of sites by their time of updatation or upgradation.

I think it also depend on meta tag for revisit content. I usually set 15 days for google re visit my site. After 15 days they always indexing my site.

You can't tell googlebot how often to visit your site. This is something that it decides by itself based on the page it is spidering and the copy it has on record and whether there is a difference between the two. And even if there is a difference, that's not a guaranteed spider visit because there are other factors that affect it.

some factors are:

1)If you have submitted your sitemap file then you should set the rate of change of your contents according to your choice like daily, weekly, 15days etc...

2)YOu should frequently change your contents.

3)YOu must add new pages and submit your sitemap regularly.

Thanks.
