Go to google and type link : (you client site) then it displays the all the back links

i don't know about that i've found a few errors with google

it seems to not show ANY of my back links

however other tools like yahoo site explorer and seomoz back links

show all my relative links

even alexa

I don't know any tool or method to filter when searching backlinks in certain categories you want. But if you want to see all of them, I think yahoo site explorer is better, try it and you can even get a copy of it in notepad.

Have you try to use SEO open? You can your backlinks using Yahoo.

You can use seo quirk for firefox. It is a good tool for checking not only google backlinks but for yahoo and MSN also. Even it have various other tools like alexa ranking, traffic, no follow tags etc....

Try to check your backlinks on google search.

Step 1 to 3:

Step 1:
Go to advanced search tool and type your keyword then go to results per page , click it to "100 results"

Step 2:
Ctrl F, then type your site.

Step 3:
Look for Cached. look for your rank

Common methods used for obtaining links to your site are: Send a press release to online PR sites Send an article with a link to your site to article submission sites Submit your site to relevant online directories Join forums that are relevant to the content of your site, put a link to your site in the signature area, and submit comments to the site. Another method of increasing back links is by paying for them on other sites.
