i think only few of the major SBM sites are helpful creating traffic and backlinks. but i dnt think that other SBM sites are helpful in increasing the traffic and SERP.

I have found another list of social bookmarking websites some time ago. I remember that I submitted my website to a few of them. But all of them was nofollow (so there was no benefit for search engine optimization) and also didn't get any traffic from them. Since they are nofollow I guess the direct traffic is the only reason why people use them. So, does anyone get some reasonable traffic from these websites? Are there some "tricks"?

Before doing social social bookmarking always check the cache page of Google of that website (internal pages also), there are lots of websites which are not crawled by Google from years, so just ignore them..
