On-Page Optimization

Post by Vouge Miller »

SEO has two sets of techniques on-page and off-page. On-page is when you do tinker the site itself to optimize it. On-page optimization involves changing elements of your actual webpages that most visitors to your site wont even notice. Basically it's tweaking all elements of a page which are a factor for ranking well in the search engines.

Title and on-page content is very important. Metatags typically are not.

One little helpful trick is stuffing a few keywords into image names, alt and title tags.

On-page optimization

Post by Lewis Plaster »

On-page optimization involves modifying keyword frequency in the web address, Title, Headings, Hypertext Links and Body text. It may also involve reducing redundant HTML codes (aka cruft) produced by Web page authoring tools and restructuring the site to produce better linked and focussed page content.
