Anchor text is the clickable text in a hyperlink. #SEO best practices dictate that anchor text be relevant to the page you're linking to, rather than generic text. The blue, underlined anchor text is the most common as it is the web standard, although it is possible to change the color and underlining through html code.

Anchor Text is the visible, clickable text in a hyperlink. In modern browsers, it is often blue and underlined.

Anchors text is the text displayed on a website for a given link. Users click on the anchor text in order to get to the associated website. Links like “here” or “next” are not suitable because they do not provide any information about their destination. A visitor is not very likely to click on links like these.
