Hard to fid exactly what you asking for..if it`s free , no back link required - than probably it`s new and has no PR.

That`s the problem in most of the cases.

Notice that most of the top rated web directories aren't free.

DMOZ is about it if you want free + quality.

I want some quality directories which accepts free submission and also dont require a backlink in exchange and also have a category related to SEO having a PR 3 or above.

I will really appreciate if you would give a list of such directories please make sure that the directories come under the following guidlines.

[1] It must accept free submission.
[2] It doesn't require a backlink in exchange.
[3] It must have a category related to SEO.
[4] The category must have a PR 3 or above.

I will really like to hear on this from you!

Have you ever tried at Hedir.com? Right now its internal category doesn’t have any PR. But still I feel it’s a good one in directory world. You can check yourself and decide.

There is value in submitting to directories with no PR.

1) you get the benfit of the anchor text.
2) when they grow more and get PR you are already listed.

Have you taken a look at socengine.com? They have a free and paid solution. Thier paid option lets you deep link to your pages and you can use whatever anchor text you want. I would try it out...

Many free directories takes very long time (maybe forever) to review, usaully serveral weeks to months.

It is better to provider reciprocal link if you don't wanna pay. I am owners for a few directories, I know that.

Gene R. sorry I drop in lately. Anyway may I know which site you have submitted there? And also pass me the forum topic url of Hedir too, if possible then. Let me see what actually happened. If your site deserves listing there, I will definitely help you out to be listed there.
