Travel site having SEO problems

Post by Mac »

Hi,

I'm in the travel business and desperately need SEO help, over the last 6 months two companies have had me over because they want paid for work and then dont deliver, other more credible companies are telling me "you are in a highly competitive market and we wont quote"

I've spent a lot of money on the site already, its at www.bookitall.co.uk, its front-end to an expedia back-end, its got a strong brand, it has great functionality and delivers great prices - and you can build your own customised trip.

So what are you supposed to do - ANY HELP! - appreciated.

Regards.

Mac.

Hi,

I checked you website and seems to me that it is not well optimized. the probability that you can get a good rank for your targeted key word and key phrases are very low. Your website is even new. If the optimization and submission was already started the it will still take at least 6 months to get a good rank in google because of the so-called sandbox. You will need a search engine specialist to take care your placement but also be carefull in picking search engine specialist since some other seo specialist are using illegal method that will give your website a good search engine placement in a shorter period of time then banned for the rest of domain's life.

Hope this will help you even a little bit

Hi,

The site has taken almost a year to build due to changes in the back-end and a general misunderstanding of what was needed.

But on the SEO I have paid (2) companies to do it and they've dissapeared - so I know what you mean about picking someone - but where to go? - who to deal with??

I've changed the keywords, title etc MYSELF over the last couple of day (and I know nothing about seo) but I've got the title, description and keyword relevancy to page from 11% and TERRIBLE - to EXCELLENT and 85% on the keywords.

I need to find someone who can build about 50 or so additional (keyword rich) pages, start a link directory and do this professionally on an ongoing basis for this and other sites - Any takers??

Cheers.

Jim.
