Labeling Pictures and Images on websites

[chevybbc]

I have a Classified Ad website that is dynamic and when people post their pictures it just shows up letters and numbers. Should I go back in and change the label to what the picture is? Will this help with getting better search engine results? Or do you have any better ideas please let me know.
thank you

Well base on my experience, images or pictures can really help in search engines, so I think you have to fix that label, or else the user on your site will not anymore post or visit your site.

Your website is centered around Classified Ads...and a major part of that is images. If they aren't being labeled correctly I'd do what I can to fix that. It really depends on how these photos are being presented.
