I just wanted to post this video here in this section to warn people who may not know, that Google is penalizing those who have keywords in their forum signatures as links. I noticed a lot of people on this forum do it, and I just wanted to provide this video I came across for you to see that you may be hurting your SEO efforts, when you actually think you are doing something to improve your SEO. Google is gettting good at recognizing everything these days it seems like. It is best to just leave a naked url or your business name in your signature.

Re: Google penalizing for using keywords in signature links
Hi,
I just saw the link that you sent but it does not say anything about the signature embedded backlinking.
He just mentioned not to do too much of it because it may seem as a link scheme.
Any suggestion of the number of posting to do daily to stay under the radar?
Thanks!
