Hi! Sorry for my bad English first of all
I want to propose a problem.
I'm optimizing a site, www.limoflorence.com of a friend that has a car rental with driver society.
His customers are mostly americans. I'm choosing to optimize the site about the keywork, among the others, "limousine service in italy".
I have had excellent risutls but on search-enginex.it and not in search-enginex.com. (yahoo for example, in google I have some problems to indicizate)
How can I do to improve the risults also in yahoo.com and not only in yahoo.it? (or in general x.it and x.com)
I thank you all and sorry again for my stupid english

Apart of what submit said, I´d add that local versions of Search Engines usually regard the sites hosted in the servers of the own country of the SE local version. So, if your site is hosted in italian servers, the site will have better rankings in the searchengine.it. If you offer a service in Italy, but your targeted customers are in a different country, I´d suggest you to tell your hosting company to host the site in a server that physically is in that other country.

Yahoo loves quality contents. If you want to get good ranking for both local and general yahoo datacenters, add more new, unique contents in your site regularly.

Yes, Content is the king if you are going for good and unique content to your site regularly.

To achieve a better ranking in Yahoo, you need to make the on-page aspect of your site very good. Post only quality contents in it. Yahoo gives weight to contents than backlinks.
