If you want to increase PageRank for your website than you should aware about all related factors. Only link building cannot help you to increase website PR.
Off-page techniques:
- Forums Posting
- Social Bookmarking
- Guest posting/Articles submission with Quality & Unique Content
- Web 2.0 With Relevant content from relevant website having high PR.
But On-page site optimization is more important to rank any website higher on Google and also to get good PR. There should be quality + unique content on your website and if you are running blog than you should update your blog regularly with unique and interesting content.
