Well, so much of White, Black and Blue Hats... but what is Grey Hat?

That is a skilled hacker who sometimes acts in good will, and sometimes not. Something like are a hybrid between white and black hat hackers. Grey Hat hackers usually do not hack for personal gain, but they may or may not occasionally commit criminal actions at the time of their technological exploits.

Basically it's in-between white hat and black hat seo - one who do some legitimate SEO methods and some frowned upon tactics at the same time but they do it mildly to avoid search engine punishment

Gray hat describes a cracker who exploits a security weakness in a computer system or product in order to bring the weakness to the attention of the owners. Unlike a black hat, a gray hat acts without malicious intent. The goal of a gray hat is to improve system and network security. However, by publicizing a vulnerability, the gray hat may give other crackers the opportunity to exploit it. This differs from the white hat who alerts system owners and vendors of a vulnerability without actually exploiting it in public.

I think you all have no doubts about Grey Hat !!!

Grey Hat is a techniques that usually use the black technique like spamming but a white hat technique that has a organic result for a site.

Dear grey hat technigue is in black hat technique for SEO, this technique is not use in SEO generally.
only white hat technique is allow for SEO.

Gray hat seo techniques, as the name suggests are the mixture of white hat and black seo services. Gray hat rightly said by our respective friend is the risk and reward thing. Black hat seo activities are covered up the by the white hat seo work.
