How can you really tell which back link will be indexed by Google.
I have been submitting my site to directories, blogs, joined forums and writing articles,
None of these seem to give me a Google backlink they all seem to get swallowed up by Yahoo,
I have gone for high PR High Traffic and still no Google backlink any advise as how you get a gaurenteed Google back link.

Try waiting till Google reindexs your site. If its been only been a short time since you submitted to directories, then maybe google hasn't been through your site. Wait and then reevaluate your plan.

Best of Luck

Backlinks are very important and should be considered because if anyone link their site to your website then it is considered as an important "vote" for your site.
