Hi,

You can join some of those memberships websites like:
linkmarket.net
linkmetro.com
simplylinking.com

and there are many more, just research for them. I only suggest free option in them, and do not ask for link exchange, just wait for other websites to ask you...

Orkut is also a great place to find communities doing just link exchanges.

Link exchange is very difficult. You should hire a directory submitter service. They can be quite effective and they get one way links.

webmaster2all wrote:First of all check back links of your competitor. There are so many free tools through which you can check it. After that you can find the resources by typing allinurl:link.html your keyword. e.x if you want do resourcing for web design then type in search box allinurl:link.html web design . It will help you a lot in resourcing
I think your search parameters works better than what I use site:* keyword + "link exchange"

Its better to step away from LInkexchange website.. there are no proof but its is suspected that google starts giving low values to those site who are found on such link exhcange sites.

This is not too hard to search one way link. But for this you have one website with PR.

This is good: AS-9
site:* keyword + "link exchange"

Or you can find: Keyword + Links

There are still thousands of webmasters who are active in exchanging links with others but reciprocal links are not that powerful nowadays, neither for rankings nor for PR.

I think webmasters are aware of that's why they go for 3 way links scheme nowadays.

don't ask for link exchange, it would be better to submit or look for one way link.

I can recommend an excellent tool, called Link Assistant. It gathers related websites, links pages and email address for the keyword you enter. It allows free trial for 15 days. I suggest you gather as much backlinks and email address using that tool before it expires.

Getting response from a potential link partner may take time so just be patient and just continue sending a request letter to the webmaster, but if they see that they may gain profit from the site they will add your site fast and will ask to put their link to your site too so I think improving first the site itself!

Link exchange is not very benifical these days. Use free web directories for one-way back links. Forums are also helpful. You may create thread for link exchange request.
