slow / Gradual / Natural Link Building Speed.
If you have experienced your website rankings fall on Google and/or other search engines, probably you already know: your link building speed should be SLOWLY!
Since only slowly & gradually link building looks natural to search engines, and especially to Google.
If you build links too quickly, your website can be penalized by Google. The higher your link building speed is, the more serious penalty (rankings drop) your website may get.
For new websites we recommend to start link building from ~5 links a week.
For sites with 300-1000 link popularity we recommend to build ~10-15 links a week and gradually increase this speed.

Google can’t be neutral ranking its own properties even if they don’t directly, manually mess with individual rankings – that’s because they hire the testers which evaluate their search result algorithms, and we have reason to believe these tests in turn can shape which directions Google’s algorithms take.

The first thing you should do when working on search engine optimization is find a great keyword phrase for that page. You shouldn't try to optimize your entire site to one keyword phrase - instead focus on writing pages for specific keywords and phrases.
