Blog Commenting is a way to link your articles to other relevant articles on the subject in the effort to attain back links. When using such methods you should keep a few things in mind. First use deep linking (a link to a specific related article/page on your site) taking people directly to your home page can increase your bounce rate. When you take them to something relevant to what they are looking for they may subscribe to your post or check out other articles.

Next you should know not all blogs have dofollow links its up to the user. do follow links will help your page show up in search engines of they are truly related and share key words or phrases. Just just because it is a nofollow link doesn't mean its useless. Again the readers should be there looking for something your link may be able to provide.
