Yeah, and its not just on Social Media, also in SEO, we have to be natural because making artificial stuffs makes your site vulnerable to punishment.

Remember that you are introducing your website/product to humans not to search engines that's why you have to be more careful in interacting with other members of the community.

Of course, as for word social, it is human interaction.
As for link builders in social sites, you should do it manually plus you have to work on your network with people in the same interest of your niche.
