Best submission for Press Release?

Post by jiefred »

I saw an advertisement of a site that distribute press release to newspapers, magazines, trade journals, TV and Radio. But it is not for free. Do you think it is effective than submitting your press release to a free site?

in my opinion, yes it is more effective...they give importance to your press release and you'll be accommodated first..but it doesn't mean that free submission isn't good..it only takes time before your PR has been reviewed, post, etc...

I use both. The free ones get you out there, but not near as far as the paid ones. Not need to use too many of the paid ones, because they end up publishing to many of the same sites....

one of the big differences between paid and free are the backlinks... the free ones don't always give you a back link, and sometimes it expires in a week or so.

The paid ones are usually archived for years, so you get some long-term backlinkage to a site...

i use both, too. I cannot compare both. Sometimes paid sites bring my site lots of traffic. Sometimes free sites bring my site more traffic. Sometimes paid sites bring more than free sites. Sometimes free sites bring more than paid sites.

Yes, I do submit my PR to free PR submission sites.
It's cost efficient plus some sites approve your PR with the day.

Of course paid one is much better, guarantees fast approval and good positions as well as distribution into more broad viewers.
