Does word press coding effects in search engines???

Post by virtueinfo »

Hi,

Can any one tell me that using word press technology to create a website has some extra effects on search engines? Does it increase number of visitors to the site? or any thing like that?

Is it true, I have just heard this, I may be wrong but need to be clear for the same.

Thanks

How you use/promote it is what makes the difference - If there's a truth in that statement of yours then 90% of websites today should be build with wordpress CMS already.

Wordpress just serves the pages from a database. That won't affect SEO. The way your pages and content are constructed as well as how the site fits into the rest of the Internet (backlinks) is what will affect SEO.
